Large birch tree in backyard with ~40% of leaves yellowing/browning over 2 weeks; requests assessment and possible treatment, ASAP. Preferred contact: text.
Hi George, Thanks for reaching out. We can do a diagnostic assessment of your large birch and provide treatment recommendations as needed. Based on the size and the need to preserve tree health we estimate a site visit and assessment will take about 3.25 to 6.5 hours of crew time using a bucket truck, with a quoted price range of approximately $1,170 to $2,925. The lower end reflects easy backyard access, no nearby structures or wires, and a straightforward diagnosis that can be treated without lab testing. The higher end reflects restricted access, work close to the house or utilities, need for detailed inspection from the bucket or climbing, and follow up testing or more intensive treatments. Our site visit includes an on-site diagnosis, a summary of findings, and treatment options and pricing. Lab testing or full treatments (pruning, injections, cabling) would be quoted separately if required. Could you confirm gate access and any nearby structures or overhead wires, and send a couple of photos if possible? We will text to arrange a quick site visit and can schedule without you needing to be home. Thanks, and feel free to give us a shout if you have any questions, Max, Calgary Tree Care & Arborist Service (587) 329-7161
