Good morning I have two crab apple trees in my garden that I need removed as I have two labs and they have gotten into the apples and subsequently gotten very sick. I am looking for someone to remove the trees and replace with two other trees similar dimension. I do like the size of the trees so I need a suggestion of low maintenance and very little droppings. Hi Renee, Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear your dogs got sick from the apples. We can definitely help with removing the two crab apple trees, and we can also look at replacement options for something similar in size that is lower maintenance and has minimal droppings. Based on your message, the best next step would be a site visit so we can confirm the removal scope, look at access, and make the right recommendation for replacement trees. I have forwarded your request to the owner, and they will contact you directly to coordinate scheduling. If you would like, you can also reply with whether you want the stumps ground out as part of the work, since that is usually priced separately. Hi Renee, Thanks, that is helpful. As a general rule, stump grinding is usually worth doing if you want to replant in the same area, improve the look of the yard, or avoid having the old stumps left behind as obstacles. If the stumps are left, they can remain visible for quite a while and may get in the way of future landscaping. Since you are considering replacement trees, we can give you the best advice on grinding once we see the site and confirm where the new trees would go. I have added your address and forwarded this to the owner. They will contact you directly to coordinate the site visit and go over the best options for removal, stump grinding, and replacement trees.
