Hi Joana, Thanks for getting in touch. I can help with the tree removal, but I need a few quick details before I can provide an accurate quote. Could you tell me the approximate height of the tree and the trunk diameter (roughly how wide the trunk is)? Is the tree close to the house, garage, or overhead wires, and is there clear street access or will we need to work through a tight front yard or driveway? Would you like the stump ground out or left in place? If you have photos you can email those as well, and let me know your preferred timing and that email is the best way to reach you. If it’s easier I can schedule a quick site visit to measure and give a firm quote; there is no need for you to be home and we can schedule flexibly. Once I have those details I can send an accurate price range or arrange the visit. Thanks, and feel free to give us a shout if you have any questions, Max, Calgary Tree Care & Arborist Service (587) 329-7161

Hi Joana, Thanks, that helps. For a tree around 40 feet tall, a rough budget for removal would likely be in the $720 to $1,440 range including cleanup and hauling away the debris. That said, the main things that affect where it lands in that range are whether it is close to the house or garage, whether there are any overhead wires, and how easy the front yard access is. Do you mind letting me know: Is it close to any structures or wires? Is there clear access from the street/front yard? Would you like the stump ground out as well, or left in place? If you have a couple of photos, feel free to send them over and I can usually tighten the quote from there. If it looks like access or safety is a factor, we may recommend a quick site visit to firm up the price. Best, Max Calgary Tree Care & Arborist Service (587) 329-7161
