Hello, We’ve noticed some needle browning on several of our spruce trees this summer and after searching through AI I’m concerned my trees may have a fungal infection that warrants some attention. Can I please get a quote for someone to come out and inspect/treat the trees and provide a plan on how to prevent the trees from getting worse or needing to be removed. I have provided a few pictures for your reference below. Ryan Hegholz Mobile 403-990-0095

You

Ryan, Thanks for reaching out and for sending the photos. Needle browning on spruce can be caused by a few different issues, including fungal disease, insect activity, environmental stress, or normal seasonal needle drop, so the best next step is an on-site inspection to determine what is actually going on. I've passed your request along to the owner, and they will contact you directly to coordinate a time to come out and take a look. Once the trees have been inspected, we can advise whether treatment makes sense, what the likely next steps are, and whether any trees are at risk of further decline or possible removal.
